So much has changed in Montgomery in the past 6 years; you need to visit to see what is new! This rally is all about riding. "RIDING THE RIVER REGION" is our motto and for a good reason. Ride into town on Thursday and enjoy a dealership kick-off party unlike others. Food, drinks and a live band! Ride Friday on guided or self-paced routes throughout the area. Join other riders on an ice cream run to the Blue Bell Ice Cream factory just north of Montgomery. Walk where history was made--where music legend Hank Williams grew up and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. preached. The Chapter Challenge is at stake so don't miss the Biker games, led by the Christian Motorcycle Association. Next, ride in a police-guided parade across town, ending at the Cabana-Rooftop Party where a live rock-n-roll band ( 2 Daze Gone ) will play while you relax overlooking the city from 8 stories above the downtown streets! Saturday rides also are guided and self-paced. Take the way-back roads where tent cities once were common. Riding Hank's "Lost Highway," the Memorial Confederate Park or the Interpretive Center highlighting the Civil Rights Movement are just three options for you to check out before a Chapter Invitational Parade will end as part of the closing ceremonies and the rock-n-roll band Cruisin takes the stage. Sunday, wake up just in time for a Bike Blessing before you head back home. This rally is designed for HOG members who remember what it means to ride and have fun. See y'all in Dixie! |
