Rally DetailWith a logo like "Riding the River Region," you know this rally is all about the rides. We start on Thursday with a dealership party at Harley-Davidson of Montgomery.Friday, we have no less than SEVEN guided rides and countless self-paced routes to choose from. The rides include, but are not limited to: the Conderate Memorial Park (lunch available), the Interpretive Center on Hwy 80 highlighting the Civil Rights Movement March from Selma to Montgomery, breakfast rides through Crenshaw County and even a trip to the Blue Bell Ice Cream factory. Bike games will help determine who wins the HOG Chapter Challenge, a roaming trophy for the winning chapter to display until next year when it is back up for grabs. We will line-up for the police-guided parade across town and through historic downtown and end seven floor up in our very own designated HOG PEN of the host hotel. We go up one floor and over look the city at a Cabana-Rooftop Party (bring your trunks!). While looking down at the city, the "Old Tyme Rock-n-Roll band" 2 Daze Gone will provide the tunes. Saturday, there are SIX guided rides and again, countless self-paces routes to go on. This time there is a Dam Poker Run where Dam Riders will go visit WHAT ELSE? a Dam. The HOG Chapter Invitational Parade will conclude as part of the Closing Ceremonies, where a pay-as-you-go dinner will await riders. The HOG Chapter Challenge Trophy will be awarded and the band Cruisin will be playing live music. Sunday, wake up in time for a Bike Blessing from the Christian Motorcycle Association before you head back home. If you get tired from all the riding, there are several museum tours you can take all in walking distance from the host hotel and if you want to ride a trolley to downtown restauants/points of interest, that will be available on Friday. Sore from all that riding? The host hotel has made a "Bikers Special Massage" at their world-class facility. In fact, see the Registration Details page to learn how you could win a FREE massage.
